Microsoft’s Investing in an AI Future
Microsoft is in talks to invest $10 bln in OpenAI, the creator of DALL-E and ChatGPT. This will give them a 49% stake in the company. They have also teamed up with NVIDIA to build the next supercomputer hosted on their Azure service, possibly to be used in training OpenAI’s future models. This news comes in the middle of their effort to buy Activision-Blizzard, positioning them even better to be a leader in the race for creating the next era of the digital world.
